Carolyn Land was born and grew up in the New York City metropolitan area and was exposed to the creative process at an early age. She is an award-winning artist who has a BA in Art Education and an MA in Education plus another 33 credits in administration and fine art. She has been a lifelong educator and artist. She has presented several papers on “Motivation for Learning: Through the Arts” and taught on all levels from pre-school through college.

Her teaching style is individualized because each person is uniquely different.  She believes the creative process is a very personal thing.  Therefore, she teaches composition, and techniques, and allows her students to create in a style and medium that suits them best, using subject matter that they feel passionate about.

Carolyn teaches at The Hub on Friday mornings at 9:30am.
