Heather Wolynic

Heather is a professional artist and art therapy practitioner with a Master’s in Fine Arts from SCAD, specializing in vibrant mixed media acrylic paintings that blend realism and fantasy. With nearly 30 years in art and design, she’s collaborated with prominent clients like Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and Sea World Orlando, establishing herself as a leader in her field.

Heather has over 20 years of experience in art education, teaching in Volusia County’s public and private schools. As an art therapist, she supports individuals facing challenges like Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, PTSD, and grief, especially grieving children coping with family loss.

At the Hub on Canal in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Heather coordinates youth programs, supplies art materials to underserved schools, and raises funds for art departments, ensuring students and teachers have resources. She also provides art instruction for both adults and children at the Hub and accepts commission work.

Her artwork, exhibited in three Florida galleries, was recently selected for the 2024 Biennial International Art Exhibition, placing her among the top 50 global applicants. Heather’s achievements have been recognized in publications like Canvas Rebel and Women’s Health Magazine, reflecting her significant impact in both her community and the art world.
